The staff are competent and friendly. They do their work conscientiously and aren't above climbing up to the roof to answer questions. Thank you for the friendly, helpful, and competent service!
Excellent advice, reliable and dedicated workers, very punctual. Good on-site support from Mr. Laposa. I highly recommend Spitzer Dach.
I have had Spitzer Dach carry out several jobs (bitumen roofing on a flat roof, sheet metal work). Every job was completed to my complete satisfaction by competent and friendly staff.
Flat roof was installed in 2019! by Spitzer. It is now leaking, and water is gathering beneath the bitumen sheets, causing water damage inside. There's no need to worry, mistakes can happen. We contacted Spitzer and requested an on-site inspection. We were able to schedule an appointment with the responsible field service for the following week. The field service arrived on time as agreed and inspected the roof. When I asked how something like this could happen after 5 years, they replied that the roof could leak due to weather conditions (heat/cold). According to the field service, the cost of repairs will not be covered, as the warranty expires 3 years after construction, and since we don't have a maintenance contract for our roof—which, by the way, costs €300 per year!—it's basically our own fault and we have to cover the cost of the repairs! We didn't even know that a maintenance contract was possible for a private flat roof with such a small area. He assured us that we would receive a quote for the repairs the next day. The next day, we waited until the afternoon and urged the field service to provide us with another quote. He said he couldn't get around to it that day and promised to send us the quote by 9:00 a.m. The next day arrived, it was 11:00 a.m., and we still had no quote. I tried to reach the gentleman by phone, but was repeatedly forwarded to the office. The operator tried to connect me twice, but I kept getting back to her. I asked for an urgent call back, which I'm still waiting for today in vain; it's been 9 days now!! No quote, no response, no idea what to do. The water damage is getting worse, even though the drying units have been running for 15 days. I'm shocked at the customer service; they simply let us down! If Spitzer doesn't want to carry out the repair, all they have to do is let us know, and we'll hire another company! But simply not answering the phone and not calling back isn't the right way to treat customers. So, I don't recommend it!
I had a fairly small construction project – a patio roof. Consultation, planning, execution, and adherence to deadlines were all of the highest quality. I would very much like to do further projects with the team. The prices are quite high, though. I don't want to hold that against Spitzer, because I don't have a direct comparison. For just a few hours of work, you end up working for several months.
