In April 2021, I had water damage in my bathroom. Even while the dehumidifier was running, I realized it was time for a complete renovation: bathtub out, shower in, and all of it barrier-free. Looking back, it was absolutely the right decision to hire Martin Hauser and his company, Komfortbad, for the project. Even the initial consultation focused on my specific wishes – no one ever tried to pressure me into anything. The tradespeople were all punctual, competent, and carried out the work in close consultation with me to my complete satisfaction. The renovation was perfectly coordinated; there were no waiting times between the different companies. Now, two and a half years later, when I go into the bathroom, I'm still delighted with the successful result.

100% RECOMMENDATION of KOMFORTBAD, Mag. Martin Hauser & Team! I came across Komfortbad through a Google search for a bathroom renovation company, along with two others. I emailed them describing my current situation and requested a site visit and a quote. Mr. Hauser responded immediately and came by right away. At that point, I thought it would be enough to install a new shower tray, as my antique marble tiles were literally crumbling underfoot, the drain was warping, and all the grout was cracked. Martin immediately recognized that there must also be water damage and advised me to contact the property management company and have the area dried out first, as he couldn't in good conscience install a shower tray if the substrate was potentially damp. Thankfully, he was honest, because, as it turned out, I had enormous water damage and also realized that I had been the victim of a truly awful construction disaster. The fact was, the entire shower had to be renovated – meaning everything had to be torn out, rebuilt, insulated, and tiled, etc. Komfortbad cooperated so professionally with the company Mibag; I was truly impressed. Now I have a beautifully renovated, walk-in shower with a cast mineral tub, recommended by Mr. Hauser, which is absolutely fantastic. All the work was done so meticulously, and the team left the site spotless every time. The entire renovation was very well organized and coordinated. I can absolutely recommend Komfortbad. Thank you, Martin Hauser, and team members Alex and Lukas; I will definitely recommend you! :-) Anja

Bathtub out, shower in. We were extremely satisfied with our bathroom renovation. Mr. Hauser provided us with very competent advice. The staff and installers were very friendly and worked very cleanly. We would use Komfort Bad's services again anytime.

KomfortBad impressed us with its reliability and punctuality! The shower and bidet were installed in no time. (We handled the demolition work ourselves beforehand.) Two or three minor cosmetic flaws were promptly and completely resolved after completion. The collaboration with the installation company was also excellent. All the employees were always punctual and very friendly! Mr. Hauser even took care of the paperwork for the city. We are very happy; our new bathroom is now a dream! A big thank you to the entire team! The Eder Family

The bathroom renovation in the studio apartment presented a particular challenge due to the limited space. The original bathtub, the relatively large toilet, and the large sink were to be replaced with a shower and smaller fixtures. The goal was to create more space (correcting the flaw/failure of the original design). Overall, the renovation made optimal use of the limited space and created more freedom of movement. The professionally executed renovation can be considered a successful solution (especially the shower). The 5-day schedule was exceeded by only one day, which was billed separately. As with many other projects, a city subsidy was not to be expected due to restrictive evaluation criteria (shower size smaller than 90/90 and no senior citizen status). Therefore, the costs for such a small renovation were relatively high. Thorough and detailed planning (product comparisons, etc.) could potentially reduce costs further. In summary, the renovation was worthwhile, and I would like to thank the company "KomfortBad" for carrying out the renovation competently and successfully in my absence. I can recommend the company.
