Title: Professional Start – Disappointing Results and Inadequate Aftercare On August 21st, we had Rentokil treat our entire house for silverfish. The communication beforehand was very professional, quick, and reliable. The quote of €744 was promptly provided and gave the impression of a reputable and long-lasting solution. During the consultation, we were told the treatment would take 4–5 hours, followed by a 6-hour lockdown of the house. In reality, however, the technician finished in about an hour – including the initial consultation and a break. Furthermore, the promised "gel dots" turned out to be long, sticky strips of gel, some of which were smeared on painted walls, making them difficult to remove and unsightly. The infestation only improved slightly; the problem persisted in the main areas. A follow-up treatment was promised, which we repeatedly requested be carried out promptly, as the infestation had worsened again in the meantime. The follow-up treatment has not yet been carried out, apparently due to a pending approval from headquarters to the regional manager. All communication after payment of the invoice was handled exclusively through us. Rentokil has not contacted us by phone or in any other way. Conclusion: Very enthusiastic before the contract was signed, but unreliable afterward. For €744 and a one-hour treatment, the result is disappointing – especially due to the lack of aftercare and the unprofessional application of the gel.

This service is absolutely a scam. They offered me a good price of 600€ in the beginning. But after the service ( 2times ) there still were bed bugs all over my apartment. When I asked them to fix it they said: "We do not insure that they go away, we just spray and that's it. But if you want to we can come again, which costs an additional 160€". While discussing my issue with the costumer service, they hung up the phone on me twice.
