Simply perfect! Clear advice, professional execution: advance healthcare directive and power of attorney, last will and testament.

This notary's office is by far the worst! Appointment at 1 p.m., we stood in front of the locked office for 10 minutes. The ladies who were there were simply taking a longer lunch break! A complete disregard for the client, an outrage in itself. No empathy for the bereaved, in this case, my stepson and me as his widow. Condolences, what for, it's about an estate, that's it. Professionalism is something else entirely, there's so much room for improvement!!! I have never been treated so poorly anywhere since my husband's death!!!

The many positive reviews are incomprehensible to us: For a legal matter in another EU country, notarization was required. Initial information was provided by Mr. Berger over the phone, and further questions were answered by email, which is positive in itself. However, we never actually dealt with him personally, as everything else was handled by the very disorganized women in the front office. Every time we called, we had to recount half the matter again, as it seems impossible to find a file that was filed under OUR OWN name. Which documents were actually needed also varied depending on whom we asked. But well, it's better to have more documents than you need than the other way around… After calling to confirm that the signatures of all involved parties were available, we were told we could pick up the document. However, once we arrived, we were put off again because the notary's signature still had to be obtained. After calling to confirm that the signatures of all parties involved were now available, we were told we could pick up the document. The pricing is also interesting: The lady in the front office informed us that the notarization would cost price X, whereupon Mr. Berger suddenly appeared and, audibly, told her to charge "amount Y." Considering that a double-sided form was printed and filled out with the data we provided, it's quite a lucrative business model. However, we still don't know whether the notarization is sufficient for the foreign court. Mr. Berger suggested we inquire at the court, while the court replied that the notary should already know. Unfortunately, we were under some time pressure; otherwise, we would have contacted a different notary.
