A replacement building was planned for the site where a garage had stood since 1968, without any cracks. Nevertheless, we were made aware of the geological situation. The initial excavation wasn't sufficient, so we commissioned a dynamic probing test. Well, after that it was clear: we needed ductile piles – there was no way around it – we had to drive 13 meters down. Naturally, we weren't thrilled about the unplanned additional costs, but safety comes first! The geologist highly recommended Schmidlechner for the pile foundation. After a rather long and arduous bureaucratic process, we were finally able to get started at the end of March 2026. We are more than satisfied with both the pile foundation work and the work on the foundation slab! Reliable planning, fast and competent communication, excellent client involvement, and explanations and information were always provided competently. The workers on the construction site were very dedicated, very hardworking (!), and friendly – ​​just as you would expect! Pouring the concrete slab on Good Friday afternoon is absolutely not something you can take for granted! We were very, very happy that we were able to complete the major work before Easter! I can wholeheartedly recommend Schmidlechner! THANK YOU for your valuable work. The completed slab was inspected and approved without any issues! We will gladly contact Schmidlechner again for the remaining work!

Buying a plot of land in Seemoos, a flood-prone area, is one thing, but for the construction and a watertight/stable building, you need a company with expertise. Due to geological and structural miscalculations by the experts we commissioned, two semi-detached houses (four units) subsided. After extensive research both domestically and internationally to find a suitable remediation company, we came across Baumeister Schmidlechner GmbH from Thalgau, among others. Their comprehensive service, from new structural calculations to indoor underpinning to stabilize our houses, convinced us. Schmidlechner successfully underpinned and stabilized our buildings accordingly. When your building plot starts sliding down the slope during basement excavation – and your geologist fires you that same day – all you want to do is scream for help. Unfortunately, this actually happened to me! My excavation contractor quickly arranged for master builder Schmidlechner from Thalgau to come to my site, and he arrived shortly thereafter. He surveyed my building site, calculated the structural integrity, and prepared a remediation quote. He accepted the contract with a handshake and got to work. With his concrete-encased steel piles, he not only stabilized my building plot, but I was also able to build my house on it as planned.
