The one star is for the work of the experts in the appraisal department, which is certainly adequate, even if its execution/presentation (not the content!) seems very outdated and antiquated compared to industry peers. Four stars are deducted for the company as an employer, and I cannot recommend it. There is too much capriciousness and dismissive behavior from management towards employees. Clear promises made during the hiring process, for example regarding vacation planning or handling public holidays, have very little impact on daily office life.
