My personal impression: "unprofessional and overpriced" Installing company hired: M.A. Installation e.U., 1180 Vienna Facts: Repair appointment Friday, July 18, 2025, 3:30 PM; Quote obtained and appointment scheduled the day before by phone, email, and WhatsApp; Travel time according to Google Maps (company location - my residence): 2.5 km / 6-8 minutes; Estimated working time: 30-45 minutes; Damage: a leaking water connection on a Junkers boiler, with significant water loss; Detailed description and photo documentation provided in advance; Installer's work on site: Draining the water from the boiler and replacing the water connections from fixed to flexible hoses (4 pieces); Total material costs, according to an online check at a specialist store, max. €40 (approx. €8-10 per flexible water hose; price inquiry at a specialist retailer (Bauhaus) see photo in the attachment!). Price and appointment were arranged the day before: First a telephone inquiry, then clarification of details/request for a quote including photo documentation via email (photo in the attachment) and WhatsApp. The company owner/Mr. Aydin personally confirmed a binding gross final price of €290, including all services, for replacing two fixed water connections with two flexible ones, payable in cash, in writing via WhatsApp (WhatsApp screenshot in the attachment), in response to my written detailed inquiry. This included the option to replace two additional connections if needed after an on-site inspection (additional material costs approx. €16-20). Upon arrival at my apartment, the plumber/Mr. Aydin suddenly said: "The labor is not included!", and that he would definitely have to charge me more! I was I was shocked. Since it was already Friday afternoon and I didn't want to spend the weekend without water and with a leaking boiler, I reluctantly agreed to the sudden, completely unjustified price increase. I would like to emphasize that Mr. Aydin did not provide any additional/extraordinary services, nor did he incur any additional material costs beyond the agreed-upon pipe replacement, which we had discussed in detail beforehand! I paid €435 gross in cash! Among other things, I was charged for one hour of travel time (invoice attached), even though, according to Google Maps, MA Installation/Mr. Aydin is only 2.5 km (6-8 minutes by car) away from me! Another plumbing company, which worked in my apartment six days later, on Thursday, July 24, 2025, on behalf of the property management, confirmed a significantly lower total repair price (flexible pipe replacement) for the work already performed by M.A. Installation, after inspecting the boiler. Furthermore, the The plumber I hired from MA Installation/Mr. Aydin simply took my four old, high-quality fixed water connections (two of which were replaced just two months ago! The purchase price in a specialist shop was €45 each) without even asking! My lack of knowledge and my desperation due to the leaking boiler pipe with its significant water leakage, and the risk of resulting water damage in my apartment, were, in my opinion, handled unprofessionally and inappropriately by MA Installation/Mr. Aydin. Therefore, I will no longer use the services of MA Installation e.U./Mr. Aydin in 1180 Vienna and, based on my very negative experience, I cannot recommend them to anyone.
