One thing that stood out to me was the events they organised. They were not the typical meet and greet, but they put attention into detail and create a nice atmosphere where you could feel comfortable and interact with other tenants. Also, I visited some of the houses, and I really like how they decorated the shared spaces like living rooms and kitchen.
This coliving company offers beautifully furnished, cosy spaces and creates a welcoming environment where residents can easily meet new people and connect with each other 😊
Lovely place with a cozy garden, small pool perfect in summer.
It will soon have been a year since I joined the HOC community, and it has been an amazing experience. The events they organize are a great way to meet new people, and the community they have created is nothing short of amazing! Their houses are beautifully designed and their team is nice and incredible.
When I returned from working abroad for a little while, I was looking for a temporary solution to live in my hometown (Antwerp)

I effortlessly found myself a room in House Of Co with a shared garden and swimming pond. This looked perfect for just a few months! (Sharing a house seemed a bit scary and not a long-term solution)

When I used to live by myself before, I thought it was a luxury to have a whole appartment to myself..

But, I ended up spending a lot of time alone. (No one has people over for breakfast/lunch/dinner/movienight etc. daily. Not me anyway. 😅)

It's been 8 months now, I extended my contract with a year, and plan to stay much longer.

I found out what real luxury feels like. It looks like this:

I can always decide to just pack my bags and go travelling again (furniture is included, so no storage needed)

Fixed all-in price: no financial surprises, no separate bills for water, electricity, internet etc. (Gives my chaotic brain that zen-vibe)

I chill/ sleep in my beautiful private furnished room.

The house gets cleaned every week.

I Socialize whenever I feel like it, because for me, spontaneous social moments are the best. 🤌

I love to travel, but now I meet people from all over the world in the backyard or at House of Co's social events, as well as locals that either live or work here. (yes, there is a co-working space here too) = super interesting stories/ people. 🥳

When I have friends over who live by themselves, they ask me: why don't you find your own place? But when they come visit, they always leave a bit jealous 😂

💛

Katrien
I’ve been with HOC already 10 months and it’s been a great experience. I live in garden house and it’s just beautiful. Rooms are comfortable and it has an amazing garden with a swimming pond. I also enjoy the community events a lot. I have met a lot of great people which was what I was looking after relocating to Belgium. Thanks HOC team
House of Co has been my best life-changing experience

New to Belgium, I started a new chapter in my life from scratch and I wanted a real beautiful apartment close to city center and without much bureaucracy. I am a person to whom atmosphere and style plays the most crucial part, otherwise I will suffer with no inspiration. House of Co has been an immediate match! Chic interiors, affordable prices, good and fair conditions, amazing communication. From the beginning they were very understanding and adjusted to the issues I had with relocation :D

Even though imperfections are a part of any life experience, I am not too cross with them - the main thing is to realistically understand yourself and whether you love living with other people. Personally I tried several formats and understood that for me it's best to live with 1-2 other people rather than a big house of 8. Some minor inconveniences about which people might complain also fall into the difficulties of project expansion balancing and business built-up, we just need to be mutually positive and respectful towards the opportunities House of Co and its tenants share together.

People in the city of Antwerp, as well as House of Co community are very open, authentic and generous to helping you. Apart from finding life-long friendships, I also found my better stance and strategy in life. This experience is not only about housing, it's about your life philosophy, too.

The project has its soul and it is definitely unique. Pim and Bus are such an inspiration! The rest of the team are great FUN!

Miss you already and will return soon <3
I had a great view from my cozy studio. Met amazing people at events. I love the clean environment as the houses are cleaned every week. Overall I really enjoyed my stay with House of co community
