Steven and his team recently completed a room renovation and paint job for us. They were extremely reliable and delivered a very professional result. Steven brought paint colour samples, which made it easy to find the perfect match—this was very helpful. Their pricing was very competitive, and overall, the experience was excellent. I would highly recommend the Express Works team to anyone looking for quality workmanship and professionalism.

I recently finalized some repair and renovation work on my apartment and have been very fortunate to work with Steven and his team for this process. They have been professional, kind, accommodative of my requests and delivering the work well ahead of my deadline for completion. Through the process Steven stayed in touch and was always reachable to discuss or clarify status of the work. In some instances when I needed some help which was out of their scope of work, this was provided without hesitation- like when I needed some heavy items that I had ordered for installation to be moved to the apartment. Everything I needed done was delivered as per expectations and there were no surprises in the final invoice when compared to the original quote. I highly recommend Steven and his team for their reliable and good work but mostly for their ability to make this process as stress free as possible.<br>Added below the before and after pictures of the bathroom renovated with Steven to convert into a walk-in shower.

Steven and his team did a great job covering a passage we had between two bedrooms and then painting three rooms in 2025. High quality work and good communication, fully recommended.

I can’t recommend Steven enough. After seeing the great work he did on a friend’s place, I asked if he could help me with a small job (curtains and a bathroom cabinet). He showed up exactly when he said he would, did a fantastic job, and was incredibly kind throughout. Even though it was a small task, he was thorough, reliable, and genuinely cared about doing things properly. A really lovely, trustworthy person and someone I’d happily recommend to anyone.

Terrible experience – highly unprofessional and unreliable. Avoid at all costs.<br><br>I contacted this company based on their Google reviews, which I now seriously question. Frankly, I am shocked by the number of positive reviews, because my experience was chaotic, misleading, and a total waste of time.<br><br>After several attempts, I finally managed to get in touch with the company representative. He claimed to be very busy, yet we agreed on a visit to my home so he could assess the site and prepare a quotation.That was the last moment of apparent professionalism.<br><br>From that point onwards, the situation deteriorated rapidly and what followed was unacceptable:<br><br>1. I contacted him multiple times requesting a quotation after the visit.<br><br>2. The first quote was nothing more than a vague WhatsApp message with a random price.<br><br>3. I explicitly requested a proper, written quotation by email.<br><br>4. After several reminders, a quotation was eventually provided; however, the quoted price (€5,724) was significantly higher than the amount previously communicated via WhatsApp (€4,546). This discrepancy was attributed to an alleged “mistake,” yet no clear or detailed explanation was given. Furthermore, multiple elements that had been discussed during the on-site visit were absent from the quotation.<br><br>5. I asked him to update the quotation to include the missing items and informed him that I could supply some materials myself.<br><br>6. Despite this, he proposed exactly the same price, even though I would be supplying the materials, and did so without providing any explanation. Moreover, my explicit request to include several elements that had been discussed during the on-site visit was disregarded, and no revised quotation was issued.<br><br>7. I requested a detailed cost breakdown and clarification as to why the price remained unchanged. Once again, he attributed this to a calculation error, yet failed to provide any supporting explanation or justification.<br><br>8. I followed up once more in a polite and constructive manner. In response, he suggested that I have the work carried out by another company.<br><br>Conclusion: If a company chooses to engage with a potential client, the bare minimum is clear, transparent, and consistent communication. This individual demonstrated none of that. The behaviour was evasive, careless, and deeply unprofessional from start to finish. If this is how they treat potential clients before signing a contract, I can only imagine the problems afterward.My strong advice: do not engage with this company, regardless of how attractive the initial price may seem. What starts as “competitive” quickly turns into confusion, inconsistency, and complete non-sense.<br><br>NOTE: the answer provided by the company to my comment is completely untrue. I am happy to share my WhatsApp messages and emails exchange with the company with whoever is interested to know more about the tricky practices of this company.

Steven a réalisé des travaux de rénovation dans notre appartement. Il a retapé toute la cuisine (impliquant la destruction d'une cloison et le placement d'une verrière) et le hall d'entrée.<br>Steven a non seulement été très efficace mais il a aussi exécuté les travaux à notre gout. Le rapport qualite-prix était par ailleurs le meilleur.<br>Lors de soucis techniques, il s'est montré créatif et a veillé à respecter nos souhaits.
