Because I had a few small welding jobs (repairs and adjustments to the metal bases of two antique office chairs), I ended up with this company. I had also contacted other companies. But while others charge as if they were using gold wire for welding, here the price/quality ratio is very good. Although I think the solution is sometimes simple, with such smaller jobs I often find that some companies treat me as if I'm asking for something impossible, something that is actually very difficult and insurmountable. In other words: they make a lot of fuss for nothing. However, I didn't experience that with this company. Straight to the point and no nonsense is the motto here. Although I've often seen welding being done, I have no personal experience with it. I wanted to change that and gain (limited) knowledge of the various welding techniques. That's why I was happy to observe the welding work and ask for some explanation. Owner Wim made time for this and, in a short time, explained more about MIG, TIG, and MMA than I could have learned after hours of research online. This allowed me to follow the various welding techniques with a welding shield on my head. You can immediately tell this is a passionate and knowledgeable owner. Someone who knows his trade. He makes time for his customers, and the quality of the work is excellent. The welds are neatly laid, even on a piece made of cast metal. And, as I mentioned, all for a great price.
