I would like to sincerely thank Pablo and the secretary at the front desk, who were always kind and reliable. Pablo, in particular, helped me a lot in understanding many important aspects of the process and was reassuring in moments of uncertainty. However, I did experience significant challenges in communication, especially in English. My special requests for assistance were often misunderstood or not fully addressed, and despite mentioning that I do not understand French, I kept receiving important documents like the bill without any explanation. Only Pablo later took the time to clarify things, which I truly appreciated. After depositing 10% of the sale amount, I expected a bit more seriousness and promptness in communication. Unfortunately, the response time for emails was slow, and I felt some level of negligence, which caused me a lot of stress and even panic attacks at times. That said, my experience so far has been overall positive, and I remain hopeful and patient as I wait for the remaining information I’ve requested. I believe that with a little more attention to clients’ backgrounds—especially those who are non-EU, new to these complex processes, and not yet fluent in local languages—the service could be significantly more welcoming and supportive. Brussels is a city I truly want to call home, and I wish my journey into it had been met with a bit more understanding and empathy. It could have been better.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from this notary when trying to purchase a property. I had to withdraw my offer on it due to a planning infraction that was the seller's responsibility. Instead of providing proper guidance on the matter, the notary dismissed the issue as "minor", without stipulate any clear legal implications. Instead the Notary pushed for the signing of the deed dismissing any concerns I had, as of trying to finish the process quickly and get his paycut. When I reached out to the Belgian regulatory authorities myself, I discovered that accepting a property with an infraction could result in fines up to 100,000 euros—something the notary never mentioned, nor was interested in knowing for future clients. There was no advice offered on how to handle the urban planning infraction either, which left me feeling unsupported. On top of that, I was charged 423,50 euros just for opening a file, and I was never informed about this cost beforehand... Not even once when I was asking about my options regarding this property with infraction. This lack of transparency and advice made me feel uninformed throughout the process. It is true that the Notary provides a service, but it seems that this notary only provides a charging money service, with fees out of nowhere. Avoid potential issues and seek another notary.

We hired the office to set up our AISBL, the whole team is extremely helpful, friendly and professional, they basically told us "we'll take care of everything", and they did it. Prices are totally average. Excellent experience!
