Yann, was very professional and helpful during the inspection. He explained all the process and went and beyond translating and explaining all the documents that I needed to complete and sign. He also set expectations of the timeline and next steps.

One of worst people to do Inspection for the house. They always side with the owner or the agency. Never heard the views of the tenant. They do not provide clear photos and it is causing big issue while doing exit formalities.. please stay away from these people

We had an extremely negative experience with Expertym during the entrée état des lieux of our apartment on August 15, 2024. That day, due to a faulty and worn-out lock, we were trapped inside the apartment for over 5 hours without food or water. The police and a locksmith had to intervene to get us out, and this was officially documented as a pre-existing issue. During this distressing situation (which even caused a panic attack), the representative from Expertym, Mr. Federico Chabert, insisted on proceeding with the état des lieux inspection while we were still locked inside, instead of showing any empathy or support. To make matters worse, Expertym later tried to charge us an additional fee for rescheduling the inspection — even though the situation was clearly out of our control. The report itself was sent to us only after significant delay and repeated reminders. This company demonstrated a shocking lack of professionalism, empathy, and basic decency. We absolutely do not recommend using them for any état des lieux. There are far more reliable and respectful alternatives available.

The agent was 100% on the side of the landlords, was incredibly disrespectful, ignored my comments, and even caused damages in the house. I was told the house was "filthy and never cleaned" because there was dust underneath one window handle when it was opened. The agent ripped off the soap holder in the bathroom and accused me of not mounting it properly. The rent contract clearly states that boiler maintenance is due once every 12 months, but the agent is charging me for it because it's older than 6 months at the landlord's request. Finally, the charges themselves are ridiculous. €600 for 12m2 of wallpaper, damages caused for drilled holes in the walls that were there when I moved in, and over €300 "removal fees" for furniture my landlord promised to buy, but changed their mind last minute. To conclude, an incredibly aggressive, disrespectful, and borderline racist bigot who's clearly on the take. Avoid for your own financial health (unless you're a landlord...)
