This is one of the worst places for shopping when it comes to obtaining help. If you know what you are looking for and where to find it, this is a good place to shop as the selection is pretty good and prices are ok. However, if you need assistance it's a whole different story. Most of the time noone is available, when you ask for someone usually they tell you they don't work in that department (which is usually true), but also they cannot get anyone from that department either because they either a: don't have a phone on them to call someone or b: that someone is on "marenda" which is a code word for lunch break. Yesterday I waited patiently in the paint department (this department and the short lady that works there has always been a difficult department to deal with) while two workers were discussing something at the computer for at least five minutes. When she finally turned around and I told her I needed help cutting a peace of outdoor rug, she said I would have to wait a minimum of 30 minutes before she can get to me (I guess she was mixing paint or something). I said no thank you and drove to another hardware store down the road, the one whose name starts with P, and spend my 500 euros there. I guess Bauhaus did not need my money after all. I mean, who has 30 minutes to spare to get a peace of carpet cut? Do better Bauhaus.
The lack of service is actually mind blowing, I approach 3 different people with the same question, and all 3 told me to go ask someone else, it was clear they have no idea what is happening in the store, they were just present for payment 💀💀💀 backwards standards in this country when it comes to services and hospitality
Unfortunately a very bad visit, the employees seem all just to be for stocking and not to help customers (even with items where only a sample is on the shelf). It's always a different colleague working in that department who's on a break right now... Lost my patience and will buy what I need elsewhere. Selection was nice but pricing often unclear to me.
Great choices. Clean and everything in order. The coffee shop good food good free wifi.
