We have recently bought an apartment in Croatia , which was a very different for us being from England. We have found Katarina to be extremely helpful and patient throughout the whole process from beginning to end. We would highly recommend.
We at the end purchased the house of our dreams in Croatia with the outstanding help, information and support we received form the agent Katarina Vlašić. We're looking for the accomodation in Croatia for quite a long period and I'm sure that without her professional help this wouldn't have happened. The whole process took a couple of mounth, from the first visit, include the contract clarification, signing and the transfer of ownership. It was easy to ask a discuss the inclear points, as well as to discuss the contract detais. Very professional, I can only say many thanks.
Aurelija Kaniski and I have just sold my house in Varazdin. She made everything so easy for me and always with a smile, kindness and professionalism. I highly recommend her . She was available day and night and explained everything to me in a clear way. I dont speak Croatian so she really helped me obtaining documents, meeting the right people and also with the new buyers for my house. A wonderful experience!!!!
Very disappointing and unprofessional experience. I repeatedly asked whether the apartment documentation was clean and was assured verbally by their agent Dalibor Šušnjar that everything was fine. Based on this, I signed the pre-agreement and paid both the deposit and a 3% agency commission. Only after that, during the bank’s mortgage inspection, a serious inconsistency was discovered: the number of balconies in the ownership papers (vlasnički list) does not match the actual property. This was found by the bank’s agent—not by the agency. Had I known this before signing the pre-agreement, I would have negotiated the price differently or walked away. Because the issue appeared after signing, canceling would have meant losing my deposit. I now have to fix the documentation myself, costing several thousand euros. The agency took no responsibility, offered no help, and refused any compensation. Important lesson: their word over the phone means nothing—get everything in writing. Once problems arise, communication becomes vague and responsibility is avoided. The process was never clearly explained, I was pressured to sign a confirmation for documents I had not yet received (energy certificate), and unlike many agencies, they did not even help with basic things like utility transfers—I had to handle HEP myself. I paid a high commission expecting due diligence and professional support. Instead, I was left alone with a costly legal problem. I would not recommend this agency.
Our real estate agent, Katarina Vlašić, was super‼️ As an American, I was quite nervous about our first purchase in Croatia 🇭🇷. Things are very different here. But, from the beginning she was flexible, resourceful, and creative with solutions to make me comfortable and see our transaction through. I have referred others to her and will continue to do so at every opportunity as well as return to her with future needs. Thank you for making our dream come true 😍
