The decision to contact Ingolf and get his advise during a "Boat for beginners" meeting was our first great step towards buying our first boat. When we found the boat we got interested in we again contacted Ingolf and got a 24 page report filled with things we would never have noticed ourself. If there is an issue Ingolf notice it. His way of guiding and advising is a pleasure. We recommend every boat purchaser to contact Ingolf first. Our purchase is still not finalised as we are waiting for the repairs to be finalised and for Ingolf to be able to do the final sea trial, but we are sure he will be our go to guy in our future as boat owners. I had no clue about boating or yachts and decided to buy my first one in Punat Croatia. I found Ingolf from Schneider Yacht experts online. From our first online meeting I felt so looked after and confident he would make a thorough survey of our now well loved 30 year old motor yacht. He was extremely thorough and ensured that the boat was sea worthy and made sure the owner brought certain elements up to code and also discounted things which needed to be done in the future. I hired Schneider Yacht Experts for a pre-purchase survey of a Bavaria 390 Caribic. He calmly and systematically checked all the structural and functional elements of the boat. The boat made a very good impression until a small gap (see photo) between the hull and the rear end of the keel was noticed. Upon closer inspection inside Mr. Schneider noticed severe cracks in the stringers next to the engine. I would not have found this damage and am grateful that we were saved from buying a boat that is essentially a write-off. Highly recommended.
