I had an excellent experience at Orto Nova in Rijeka and would highly recommend them. A special thank you to Josipa, who carried out my X-ray. She was incredibly friendly, professional, and explained everything clearly, making the process easy and stress-free. I would also like to recognise my dentist, Monika. She was absolutely outstanding. As someone who suffers from dental anxiety, I really appreciated how she explained every step of the treatment and made sure I felt comfortable throughout. She was thorough, honest, approachable, and happy to answer every question I had without making me feel rushed. After a previous negative dental experience in Ireland, this visit showed me how positive a dental appointment can be. Monika carefully checked my teeth, provided a thorough cleaning, and gave me excellent advice on how to look after my oral health going forward. I was also impressed by how efficient the clinic was. From walking in to leaving, including my X-ray, examination, and full cleaning, everything was completed in around two hours. As an international patient, I was especially grateful that Monika spoke excellent English, which made communication easy and comfortable. I’m writing this again it seems that Google deleted my review. My experience with Ortonova was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I wore their Invisalign, made by their own technician, for 2 years with no results. I probably came in for more than 15 check-ups, but the treatment was consistently disorganized. Scans were often lost or confused, and they were never sure which dates I was booked for. Even with appointments scheduled, I frequently had to wait at least an hour, sometimes longer, and there was always some issue or delay. They demanded full payment up front, even though we agreed to pay half now and half later. After two years, they finally offered “free braces,” but that was never what I wanted, and due to their attitude and mismanagement, I chose not to accept anything. I had already paid in full for their Invisalign, yet I received no effective treatment, and they were still demanding more money for retainers. I had breaks with my therapy because they couldn't get materials for my Invisalign for months and that went on for a year. I forgot to mention in my last review that Dr. Petra was trying to help and fix the previous dentist's work that was done on my therapy. Only for that reason I won’t give them 1 star. It often felt like patients from Italy were prioritized over others, and the overall treatment lacked professionalism, organization, and genuine care. While this is meant as constructive criticism, I hope Ortonova improves its scheduling, communication, and honesty with patients. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend them for Invisalign or professional dental treatment.

Avoid this dental house. It’s the worst experience I ever had as a customer. Their behaviour and quality of service is terrible , far away from what they promise ..

Orto Nova is the best dental experience I’ve ever had. Full stop. They were kind, easygoing, flexible — zero drama, zero gaslighting, zero ego. Everything was clear, fast, and calm. I’ve had more than my share of dental work over the years — and most of it has been awful. Dentists in the U.S. turn everything into a massive ordeal. Clinics in Turkey try to upsell you into panic. Not here. They had me in and out so quickly I barely had time to feel anxious. The root canal was necessary, but they made it feel like a routine checkup — no theatrics, no pain, no condescension. Just competent, compassionate care. They didn’t overcomplicate anything. They didn’t treat me like a problem or a profit center. They treated me like a human being. I don’t have family to accompany me or drive me around. In the U.S., that makes dental work even more difficult and costly. At Orto Nova, I was able to walk in alone, be treated with dignity, and walk out feeling completely fine — physically and emotionally. I’ve seen what bad dentistry looks like. This is what it looks like when it’s done right. I’ll always come back here.
