Great spot for a workout - rare old school gym vibes. Super friendly staff and a surprising variety of equipment! There’s even belts here in case you left yours behind at home

I went here whilst visiting Split in mid September. It’s in a good location if you’re near the Old Town and the staff were friendly. They cater to travellers and even have a pin board to track where the visitors come from. Despite being in the smaller side it wasn’t crowded and there was no waiting for equipment (I went about 1700). I paid €10 (cash only) for a day pass which is about right for the area. You can get multi day passes which are better value but as far as I could see have to be used on consecutive days. There’s a good range of resistance equipment which is clean and functional but some of it is a little dated and worn. There isn’t really any cardio stuff but I wasn’t after any. There’s a small core/stretching area. The music is good, but far too loud. The murals and theming are great. Unfortunately, there is no way of securing the lockers. They have doors which close but no key or anywhere to put your own padlock. The gym was safe and I didn’t have any problems leaving some things in a locker, but for me this was a major oversight and something I’ve never encountered before. It would take very little effort to put padlock fittings on the lockers, and for €10 it is a basic facility that I would expect from every gym. Overall I liked this gym and would use it again, but mainly due to the locker issue and partly due to the loud music I would probably try out some others before going back.

This is a true old-school, hardcore gym. The equipment looks like it was custom-made in the 80s from steel beams and probably impossible to damage. The dumbbells appear to have survived a war, bearing the battle scars of countless gruelling workouts. Some plates and kettlebells have been used so relentlessly that their weight markings have been completely worn away. The gym itself is a single, underground room, reminiscent of an air raid bunker. In fact, I think it actually was originally some type of bomb shelter. It's a place where true legends are forged in iron and sweat. I had an unforgettable workout here and can’t wait to return! If you crave the raw, unfiltered experience of a hardcore bodybuilding gym, this is your sanctuary. But if you prefer sleek, modern convenience and flashy cardio machines, maybe head over to Joker Mall and seek out the gym on the top floor.

Great gym. Good music choice, don’t even need headphones. Small, but has everything you need. Prices are extremely affordable. This place is perfect for those who are visiting town! It’s a 10 minute walk from Old Town, so there’s your warmup right there!
