Very good service for anyone who need to repair or maintain a boat. Friendly and highly professional stuff always ready to help or offer any kind of repair in case owners have no capability to do this job by themselfs.

Overall, I didn't like my experience here. The positive: The prices for crane, boat storage and bottom sanding are very reasonable. The negative: thing don't get done when the service manager says they will get done. In the end, I stayed longer in the yard because it rained a lot. If not for the rain, I'd be delayed by the yard workers not doing the work as promised. The awful: the charges for the mechanical work are outrageous. They will try to charge you for hours not worked. And if you try to question how could it have possibly taken four work hours to undo two nuts on the packing gland, replace the packing, and screw them on again, get ready for insults and expletives be screamed at you. (Not exaggerating here.) You should simply be happy, that it took them only 4 hours, instead of the 20 hours they estimated at the beginning. Same with the repair to my gearbox. They quoted 40(!) man-hours to take off the reduction unit, repair, and put it back on. I took it off myself in less than an hour. Then the manager agreed to charge only one hour for putting it back. IMO, still overcharged for the repair, though, but that's hard to prove. In summary: if you are prepared to do the mechanical work by yourself, or are able to watch them do everything, you may have a pleasant experience here. Same if you don't care how much things cost or only need a bottom job done. In other cases, stay away from this boatyard.
