My experience with this company was bad, unlike the reviews I read, which is not surprising since the reviewers are friends and family members of the owner. The first impression was positive, but later the work was poorly done. After a disagreement, the workers left the construction site, and the owner canceled the work by email, attacking me for not being able to work because of my constant distractions. The lawyer explains to me that this is what lawyers advise them to do to discourage people from filing a lawsuit. The owner says that he went on vacation and took the key to the apartment and will return it when he returns from vacation. At first, I had a conciliatory tone and tried to smooth over the situation so that they could continue working, although others asked me how I wanted them to come back to finish the poorly done work. Obviously, I am not demanding and it would be easier for them to continue than to look for new workers. The owner did not want to. Before going to the lawyer, I tried one more time to humanely arrange to finish the work. He lost his hearing. After that, I told him to return the key because he took it illegally, without permission. A man attacks me for harassing him and that the key is legally in his possession and the termination of the contract is not valid because we did not sign it. I don't know if the lawyer advised him that way or if it was his idea. It is clear that he got the key for doing work and not for taking it on vacation. You have to be a real exhibitionist to draw such a bad legal conclusion. A lawsuit is a rather arduous legal dispute and with a company that is operating at a loss (publicly available) it can be risky. If you know that what they are accusing you of is not so, the law is on your side. Keep all conversations, take pictures and record what they did, especially what was done unprofessionally, take witnesses (a court expert, a contractor who finds the existing condition) and start a legal battle. It can last up to 3 years, so definitely consider whether this is an option. A company that operates at a risk can go bankrupt and they would not be able to collect. A good lawyer will warn you about everything, but will also tell you that there is a legal way to collect even in the event of bankruptcy, you just need to react in time. The court is neutral and takes the real situation into account. The court will certainly not consider all complaints submitted with the aim of a constructive solution as an obstruction of work, especially if it has insight that the craftsmen were not professional and did a poor job. If you think that the court is not an option for you, to exhaust you, there are a number of institutions that you can contact, such as the State Inspectorate, the Ministry responsible for consumer protection, the Chamber of Commerce, the Croatian Chamber of Civil Engineers... In this way, you help others to avoid such workers because you are damaging their reputation and they are under the magnifying glass of the institutions and in the future they will be careful about what and how they do. That's how they entered my living space, which they destroyed, partially and mostly poorly and poorly done, left unfinished, took the key and left. When they painted, they did not protect the minimum that was left in the apartment, the walls were uneven. When moving the door in the room, the walls were made with a difference of 2.5 cm. The new contractor said that their opening was too big, which I have said several times. They did not take into account, but did it their way, thereby reducing the wall where the bed should have gone by 3 cm. Asymmetrically placed sink valves, almost every corner of the wall is very poorly painted, the power cable is sticking out of the wall... I am responding to the owner who is deliberately lying and I am posting evidence. I cannot record audio messages, but I keep everything and can refute him in everything. The new master has to repair it after them, which will cost much more. He says that they unprofessionally lined the boiler, too high, too wide, and it would have been too deep if I had not reacted because the door would not have fit. None of the sockets have a phase even though the completed electrical installations were paid for, and removing the switch ensures space. The last pictures of the new master repairing it after them, so you can compare. I am posting what Google allows because I have evidence for all the claims, and the owner should provide evidence for the claims he makes. We will take the rest through legal means because this is not the place for that. It is interesting that the company is located on Google Maps at Petrova i Maksimirska 81a, while the real address is Marochinijev put 16. The question is why. Finally, the experience of forum members.
