NEVER RENT A ROOM IN Srebrnjak 130. The landlady is crazy, rude, overcharges you for utilities even though they are included. Very bad experience, not recommended.
Highly recommend going through HomeinZagreb! I am American and was looking for a place while completing a semester of study at UNIZG. They shared several options with me based on my preferences, and streamlined the process when I picked my apartment. Signing a contract from across the world without seeing the apartment in person can be scary, but I felt comfortable using HomeinZagreb because I knew the apartment was as described. They greeted me upon my arrival in Zagreb and even took the time to go through things like waste separation in the city. After I left, my landlord and I were having bank troubles completing the deposit refund, and HomeinZagreb took care of it right away. They were there every step of the way and I can't recommend them enough!
