Krešimir Gluhak, B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, guided us through all the (arduous) phases of building and renovating a family house in Zagreb from the beginning of the project to its completion (obtaining the occupancy permit). With his engagement and expertise, we not only received supervision over the execution of all key phases of construction, from laying the foundation, checking the reinforcement, concreting, waterproofing, drainage, but also an expert who solved specific problems on the construction site, which are always more than you hope or want. This often included a “dialogue” with contractors, who always have their own “vision” of the execution of some insufficiently defined segment of the project, which is almost always not favorable to your financial capabilities. To summarize: expertise, accessibility, communication skills and respect for the wishes and capabilities of the investor make his engagement a strong recommendation.
