I would like to share my first experience with interior design services in this form. First of all, I would like to say that I don't usually write extensive reviews. But this time I have to, because without exaggeration, it was one of the best investments of money in relation to the value you get for it. I thought that having an interior designed by an architect meant "having a nice apartment". Of course, who wouldn't want to. We told ourselves that we would fulfill a childhood dream. Only later did we understand that the real added value is not in appearance, but in functionality. We have a small apartment (50 m²). The kitchen and living room were designed for us by the ATAK studio, and the implementation was done by a local craftsman. We did not make any compromises in the implementation and did not "adjust" anything, even though our friends advised us that some elements were unnecessary, that the whole place was crowded and that it would be impossible to walk there. Honestly – we were also worried about whether we had done the right thing. We were afraid that although it looked nice in the visualization, it would be a horror to live in. We even wondered if we should have bought a bigger apartment and furnished it with Ikea or second-hand furniture. This was all a mistake. As soon as the space was finished, we found out that our worries were completely unnecessary – and we are especially glad that we did not listen to our acquaintances and went to the experts. I have to say that I have never felt so good. The first surprise was that the space really has everything we asked for: a desk, a large 75" TV, a spacious kitchen, lots of storage space. And all of that on 19.5 m². Mr. Sinajský had warned us at the beginning that we should have bought a bigger apartment, because this would be a challenge. They did. The second surprise – everything in the space makes sense. Working in the kitchen is a joy, you have everything at hand: from shopping to the refrigerator, stove to the dining table or couch. You can have it tidy in no time – whether when cooking (it works by itself) or during routine maintenance. And the third bonus: it looks great. The price of the design was basically the same as one piece of furniture. It is negligible compared to the price of custom-made furniture (ours cost about 250,000 including appliances). And it is definitely worth it. If you now think that it is only for the rich who do not know what to do with money, or for the incompetent who can't build a wardrobe or draw a kitchen by themselves, or for the snobs who need luxury – believe me, that's exactly what I thought. Until I experienced the result myself. I don't like spending money on worthless things, my girlfriend and I have already furnished a few apartments (and it wasn't bad at all) and we don't suffer for luxury. So I don't belong to either of those categories. For us, it was more of a dream come true and I thought it would be a one-time thing. Today I know that I would never furnish another apartment without a designer. You return to your home every day and every mistake you make while furnishing it will scream at you until the next renovation. And the "Ikea effect" is really not worth it.

Mr Vrbik help us with the choice of the colour and design elements of our living room and entrance and it really enhanced the overall atmosphere of our home.
