We chose Mr. Baloun's company for a complete bathroom renovation and minor masonry work in the house. Communication with Mr. Baloun was very correct and of a high standard throughout. I especially appreciate that he informed us about everything in a timely manner and was able to give us professional advice. Even minor complications that arose during the renovation were resolved quickly and without stress thanks to his approach. The work followed each other smoothly and the result is a very well-done job. We can recommend Mr. Baloun's company.

Positives: - Mr. Baloun communicates well and reliably, and this is an honorable exception among small companies available within a reasonable time - The company has contracted enough bricklayers to be a little flexible in case of unexpected changes - They have suppliers and people for organization, so the craftsmen are not held up by logistics Negatives: - With exceptions, Ukrainians worked for me: they connected the shower under the plaster body in reverse, covered it, then had to dig into the bathroom from the bedroom. They cut the door and destroyed it with a flex. They did not cover the door frames before concreting and destroyed them. - The worst thing is that Mr. Baloun probably used to be a craftsman himself, and according to his own experience, he approaches the quality and standards that are supposed to ensure maximum durability in a creative way – he respects some things honestly and does not understand others, so he considers it stupid. Pushing him, and especially his craftsmen, to German quality will take work, persuasion, and anyone who is not a trained builder or does not have their own supervision will end up with Ukrainian quality. Beautiful work on the eye, but problems start to appear before they need to: undersized cables, recommends underfloor heating that will last 40 years, when what will last 60 years is 10% more expensive but is done badly, wanted to omit the second insulation, the workers did some details of the waterproofing wrong, bad pipe slope, bad shower slope - The first budget for the tender, despite promises, did not include more obviously necessary items such as rough cleaning or covering the floors - The contract is written in such a way that it only respects unit prices. If the bricklayer forgets to order the material, the supply runs multiple times and it is at your expense - If you have agreed on 1 meter of work for 3000 CZK and they do 1.3 meters, then for the owner it is 2 meters for 6000 CZK - If you have a complicated construction, the workers will mess up enough things to have a significant impact on the budget, so the charming gentleman will become a very tough businessman who forgets his promises.

We entrusted the Balstavo company with the complete reconstruction of an apartment in a brick house in Brno. New wiring, floors, new plaster and paneling were installed, parquet and door frames were renovated, and the layout was adjusted from 2+1 to 3+kk. Negotiations with Mr. Baloun were always factual, efficient and pleasant. Communication took place in person and via WhatsApp. We received answers immediately, within minutes at most. The deadline we set at the beginning was met. Some work had to be completed only after the installation of built-in wardrobes, beds, etc., but even then there was an effort to accommodate us and complete everything as soon as possible. We had an architectural design for the reconstruction of the apartment. The guys from Balstavo are not just workers who will carry out what is in the drawing, but they think about what makes sense and what does not. In the case where there was an error in the drawing, they identified it and pointed it out before they could do it correctly according to the drawing, but incorrectly in terms of the functionality of the solution. I was therefore very satisfied with the quality of the work, speed and approach. Thank you for the successful reconstruction and to all others who do not know who to choose, I highly recommend the company with a clear conscience!

Absolute professionals in their field. First of all, I would like to highlight the seamless communication, immediate resolution of any changes or minor problems that always naturally arise on the construction site. Precise work and the result exceeded our expectations. This is my second experience with this company, interior renovation and another year of exterior. Given that we were pressed for time due to the opening of the business, we greatly appreciated the adherence to the deadline. If I decide to do another renovation in the future, I will choose Balstavo again. The owner of the company really knows what he is doing and the dealings with him have always been at a high level.
