Unfortunately, our experience with Coloseum Reality is very bad and I definitely cannot recommend this agency. The broker put a lot of pressure on us from the beginning to quickly sign the reservation contract. We received the contract on 16. 2. in the evening, with the fact that it should be signed on 17. 2. We had practically no time to go through such a crucial document in peace, consult a lawyer or think everything through. Finally, we were given time to go through everything with a lawyer, but we were told that they have been on the market since 2008 and this is not the first property they have sold. In addition, there was a very problematic deadline in the contract - the entire purchase price was to be paid by 31. 3. 2026. The broker knew that we had to sell our own property first. The legal deadlines at the land registry alone mean at least: a protection period of approximately 20 days when selling our property, subsequently another procedure at the land registry when buying a new property. The bank will not delete the lien within two days, but within a week. The broker knew all this, The estimate from the financial advisor is 50-60 days. Fortunately, our financial advisor warned us about the payment date of the purchase contract and this only confirmed to us that the broker had no overview of the situations in banks and land registries. The deadlines therefore seemed very gallows-like and unrealistic. Another thing that stopped us was the information from the broker that the owner had to sell the apartment as quickly as possible because another real estate agency was pressuring her. It is now March and the property is still on offer, so this statement raises doubts. When we wanted to see the property again, we were first told that we had already seen it. In the end, they allowed us to have a second inspection, which we were happy about because we needed to measure the apartment. However, the meeting in the office itself gave us the impression that everything was ready for a quick signature – contracts prepared, water or coffee offered, sign and leave. When we came with comments from the lawyer and wanted to go through the contract (it took about an hour), we were told that they were busy with their personal matters because of us. The overall pressure and the way of communication caused us to completely dislike the property and we decided not to buy it. We did not sign the contract and the next day I called the broker to inform him that we were withdrawing from the purchase due to this approach. When I mentioned the pressure, the broker simply replied that he did not know what kind of pressure I was talking about. A very unpleasant experience for us. I do not recommend this real estate agency.

February 2023 - a bumpy start with a happy ending! Scrolled through hundreds of options trying to find “home” a place where the heart sits. Jana Mátlová is one of the most patient people I have ever met, willing to accommodate our needs even when it’s last minute requests and weekend house checks! We had no issues, all point got checked from A-Z, going through all the logistics and making sure everyone is satisfied. Thank you for your patience, professionalism and willingness to negotiate and always trying to find a middle ground in negotiating.
