Edit: after 2 years living there… It doesn’t mean that you have a 2 year contract that they will not find a way to increase total gross rent.. They will increase cost of water supply hot / cold / heating twice a year, once after annual costs consumption and second at new year because the higher consumption.. Don’t recommend them !! @Petra Pozsgai, Thank you for your support and help, i recommend her and Heimstaden Ostrava 👍🏼 everything was fast and on track…
Moving in from abroad to Ostrava was made way less stressful by the help of Mrs.Petra Pozsgai. She was extremely helpful and responsive. Truly a delightful exprience.
I met a couple agents and saw a few places, but I wasn't sure if I could trust them, because I didn't know anything about renting a house in Czech, and I couldn't understand the terms very well. Then someone gave me an email of the agent she knows: Ms. Petra Tvardková, and she found me this wonderful apartment. She speaks impeccable English, and she made the whole--very confusing--process much easier for me. I know it's a bit early to write a review since I moved into this apartment only a few days ago and anything could happen in coming months. Well, I'll revise my review then. For now, I'll give them 5-stars, for I had a wonderful experience with Ms. Tvardková, and her company.
This company has many flats in Ostrava. However, there are lots of bad reviews, and I agree with them. I wanted a flat in Poruba and they wanted all the money first (administration fee, deposit and first month rent) before even preparing the contract. That means, you will not have any guarantee that you paid. Another thing is that they are forcing you to rent for half or one year. These are not the normal practices that you can find in other agencies. Avoid them as much as possible.
ok so,... 1. Agents dont share full info or they say they dont know. So big surprise later 👎as every question they have to double check, but they dont get back to you unless you chase them. 2. Paperwork takes forever, so if you have to move fast, dont bother with this company as everything is done like a snail. 3. Payments: there accountants are so lazy they only check the bank account once a day, which keeps brolonging everything, as you dont know what time you have to make payment for them to see on there schedule. Well this page made me to give a star, but if it was up to me 0 stars would be more like it, very unhappy with the service
