Negative experience with the solution of a malfunctioning sensor. They completely let you do it and they don't really want to solve it. UPDATE: second time solving a similar problem - negative experience again. So the first experience was not a coincidence - it's a company standard.
A brilliant device, I wouldn't be afraid to call it a blessing. All the costs for the system can be paid back in a single storm. An inconspicuous leak will end up at the foundation threshold and reveal a large, yet banal technical deficiency, undetectable to the naked eye, but would pose a big problem in the future. With all of today's relatively standard investments in house components, such as cameras, air conditioning, heat recovery, etc., I would dare to say that not having humidity monitoring in a wooden building and believing that a mistake will never happen during construction is a big minus.
The first year was no problem, they called right away when there was a water leak, which was great (poorly made silicone in the bathroom). Now after two years, when the system reports a flood, no one calls, even though they charge for monitoring services.
Good communication, professional solution. I had it installed in my house, so we'll see how it works.
