The real estate agent was kind, but the landlord they introduced was quite authoritarian and materialistic. I was shocked by the excessively strict management guidelines, which were almost impossible to put into words. Moreover, they didn't even inform me about these rules before the contract. When I complained, HSH kindly canceled the entire contract. In conclusion, HomeSweetHome Real Estate consists of decent people, but the landlords they connect you with seem to be trying to exploit students financially, so you should be very cautious.
BE CAREFUL- They work with scammers. Rented with their recommendation a student housing called “Kinskych Residence”. Got constantly harassed by the owners and got my deposit STOLEN with invented charges. Every student that has rented with this residence has had the same experience. Asked for help several times to this real estate agency and despite them taking a huge comission, they never helped me or cared about my situation. Please do not rent with them, even if they reply to me with some excuse: DO NOT BELIEVE THEM. Natural born scammers, with fake reviews as well.
Everything from looking for apartment to signing the contract was perfect, they basically take care of all the documentation and answered all my questions honestly before signing. Our broker was highly skilled with professional yet human attitude. I will definitely use their services again without hesitation. Thanks
BEWARE: This business makes money from charging renters a "COMMISSION" of one-month of rent or more. They charge the RENTER, not the owner of the flat, as in every other market outside CZ. The CZECH have not figured out they do the owner a disservice by doing so, because I agree to all the owner wants from me and not to paying the listing agent a full month for a "fee" or "commission". The owner lost out on a great tenant (me) because I don't agree to the extreme and misappropriated fees. They serve themselves, NOT THE CUSTOMER (renter). Proceed at your own disappointing, risk. I'm also in the Ratings and Review business so please notice all the 5 Star ratings are from Czech names and likely those who work at Home Sweet Home, because they have zero likes! More fraud.
We rented an apartment, which was arranged by Michaela (Home Sweet Home) and are absolutely satisfied. The apartment is great, the contact was straightforward and we always got a quick answer with questions. In addition, we have even offered a larger apartment in the same house, for the same price - although we have already agreed to the smaller one. Unfortunately, as foreign students, we were not able to visit the apartment ourselves, so fortunately our expectations were completely fulfilled. We would therefore recommend Michaela Csizmárová at any time!
