We contacted this company in connection with a damage that later turned out to be approximately 90% covered by insurance. The rest was a private expense. The process should have been simple – but it turned out to be the exact opposite. From the start, we experienced a number of half-hearted and unsuccessful attempts to solve the problem, before they finally suggested a new water heater. That solution worked much better, but worse than the previous one. We could (had) to live with that, but all the previous work appeared to be random attempts without direction. Is it fair that we, as private customers, have to pay for these unsuccessful attempts? - especially in light of the fact that the solution was ultimately so clear - even for this company. The bill ended up being three times what we had been promised. The only offer we received was verbal. Everything else was done without an agreement, without information and without transparency. When we asked about the many extra measures, we got answers like: “That’s a good question”, which doesn’t exactly strengthen our confidence in the professionalism. The choice of materials was also not discussed with us. We only discovered this when the invoice was in the inbox. Cheap solutions were used that are not at all comparable to how it looked before our water damage. Even though the bill has now been paid, the problem with our water trap continues. And once the payment has been made, it honestly seems as if the case is closed for the company – regardless of whether the problem is solved or not. We are missing many relevant answers from Holm El & VVS - answers they now do not want to discuss with ifl, the owner. ................................ Thank you for a surprisingly friendly response, which we could have wanted during your visit on December 22nd. You came rushing into our home quite angrily, and were clearly defensive before you looked at the leaky water trap. This peeping “inspection?” took place with a mobile phone and a flashlight after you had put the famous floor bin back in the cupboard. You took a few pictures, after which you angrily left our home again with the message: You MUST NOT write any more. At no point did you touch the water trap you had installed or check that it was installed correctly. I did this myself later, when I wanted to install a plastic bag to prevent the cupboard from being further damaged by water - a lot of water. During this maneuver, the water trap almost fell off the upper part (photos have been sent to you). Unita tape was NOT used, which is normal when joining plastic and metal with threads? You could not possibly have made this observation from your 2-3 pictures with the self-placed floor bin? Yes, it is not good that there are elements pressing against the water trap (I have become aware of this, but not from you as professionals). However, I would deny that such a thing, almost not removed from the cupboard - in just a few weeks, can cause such havoc. It will typically take much longer. It is the same young journeyman / apprentice from your company who has done the replacement both the first and second time. The first time, it was leaking immediately. This second time it took a little longer before we discovered the leak. Since this work falls under the insurance part, for which you are paid - I suggest that you send a journeyman who can solve this small task, which however causes such big problems.

Very disappointing experience with Holm and VVS I would strongly advise against Holm and VVS based on my experience with them. I contacted them to do work on my gutters and my experience has been anything but satisfactory. There is a brand new roof on my building, done by another company, who also made new roofing felt. After installing the water collection box from Holm and VVS, problems started to arise; when it first rained, the water poured down the wall. I immediately called Holm and VVS for help, but instead they sent me an invoice for 800 kr to check the situation. They informed me that I should just get another craftsman to fix it. It is important to point out that they have a duty to advise, as they have assessed the situation before giving me a quote for a gutter that should work. To get a clear assessment of the problem, I paid for an independent building expert who concluded that the installation was faulty workmanship and was already leaking. Overall, I have experienced poor customer service, lack of responsibility and an unprofessional approach to the work. I cannot recommend Holm and VVS to anyone looking for reliable and competent service. Dear Michael Holm, Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, I must admit that I am disappointed with your assessment. It is clear that the gutter is leaking, and as a craftsman it is your responsibility to ensure a well-functioning installation when the work is completed. You must always assess the situation thoroughly in each individual case. If it turns out that it is not possible to make a functioning gutter, you have a duty to advise me of this before carrying out the work. Of course, I would call you if the gutter is leaking after the first time it rains; who else should I contact when I have had a completely new roof and completely new roofing felt made? I have now had the gutter repaired by another company as it was necessary due to the poor quality of the work done by you, as you refused to redo it and sent me a bill for the visit. The problem is definitely not with my roofing felt, as it and the roof are brand new. I am attaching a picture of the modified gutter so you can see how to do one! and pictures of my brand new roof, absolutely crazy you are trying and blaming the roof. It is not acceptable for you to claim that the responsibility does not lie with you. I expect a professional craftsman to deliver a properly executed job. Best regards, Rashad Jammal

Unfortunately, I have needed Holm EL & VVS A/S due to water damage in the kitchen. That being said, I have had Christian from the plumbing department visit me a few times, as there is a lot of waiting when different craftsmen are needed. I have rarely experienced a more competent and skilled plumber than Christian, who, in addition to doing what he had to do, also took the time to calm down and answer "stupid" questions. I don't think anyone who hasn't experienced it themselves knows how terrible water damage is. You are frustrated, scared and can hardly see your way out of it..... But everything has ended well, especially thanks to Christian from Holm EL & VVS. My highest recommendations and 5 HUGE stars.

Used room sensors were installed without me being informed about this. It first stated on the invoice that they were used and therefore there was no guarantee on them. And then the price was suddenly double what I was told on the phone (500,- per piece) and they did not state that they would be used parts. So 1000,- + VAT for a used room sensor😳 I am shocked If I had known, I would probably have considered a new system when I only have 4 room sensors in my apartment, instead of replacing 2 of the old ones for 1000,- per piece for used ones without a guarantee.
