Review of real estate agent Emil Pallisgaard Larsen, Home Aalborg We chose Emil as a broker because he initially appeared very trustworthy, and we chose him despite a higher price than other brokers with the reason: “Price and quality are related.” Unfortunately, our experience was far from what we expected and ended in disappointment and frustration. The communication along the way was lacking. We had to repeatedly ask for status ourselves and were not continuously informed about showings, interested parties or any new initiatives. When we finally got an update, it was often imprecise and left us with more questions than answers. We were encouraged along the way to significantly reduce the price and at the same time pay for additional marketing. All the while, there was no willingness on the part of the broker to adjust the fee or take on a real part of the responsibility for the missing results. Instead, the responsibility was placed on us as sellers. In addition, we experienced a misunderstanding between us and the buyers about what came with the apartment. We had clearly informed Emil about this in advance, but he failed to pass on the information to the buyer. This resulted in unnecessary conflicts and frustration after the sale, as the buyers rightly felt that they had not been given the necessary information. We experienced a lack of proactivity and an absent management of the process. Instead of feeling safe and guided, we felt left to our own devices in a process that was both lengthy and unnecessarily stressful. Although Emil generally seems approachable, we unfortunately cannot recommend him as a real estate agent based on our experience. If you want a broker who takes responsibility, communicates clearly and works actively to get the home sold, you should choose someone else in our opinion.
