I cannot recommend Aarhus Floor Grinding based on my experience. At the end of the floor treatment, the radiators were turned on at maximum power, which resulted in a warning from the return heat. The floors temporarily rose due to the heat. Subsequently, there were unsightly paint residues at joints/moulds. The employee offered to repair this at no extra cost. Previously, a painting company had spilled drops of paint on the floor. We agreed that the floor grinder would not touch the stains, as they are not his responsibility. Unfortunately, the employee chose, without prior agreement, to sand these stains anyway, even though we had contacted the painting company, who could have removed them without damaging the floor. The floor grinding company's sanding of the floor resulted in several matte and white stains that are very obvious. The company has subsequently demanded 2000 DKK for the repair of these stains. It seems unreasonable that we are expected to pay for the repair of damage that occurred during the company's work. A re-treatment also involves considerable effort in clearing the house and being away from home for several days. Based on the overall process, I do not recommend this company. Addition after review: After publishing the original review, the company has contacted us repeatedly by phone and email with demands to remove the review. They have also visited our private address several times against our wishes, acted threateningly and refused to leave the property until the police had to be called. It was extremely borderline. The content of the factual review is maintained, but we have complied with the request to remove the person's name.
I wanted to sand and varnish my floors before moving in the new house. I contacted Aarhus Gulvafslibning ApS during a weekend and got an almost immediate reasonable quote for a job that could be done the very next day. I am very satisfied by the end result. It is a job well done.
