Their policies on group classes is insanely strict you pay almost half of your monthly subscription extra for arriving 2 minutes late... Makes me feel quite stressed to even go.
I should have read the reviews of this gym before signing up. I visited the place a few times to ask for membership options but I couldn’t find anyone in reception (even though I visited through times where someone should have been in reception). I decided to sign up online anyway as I was here for only a month. When I tried to cancel my membership it said I can’t cancel it for another month. I tried again to find someone in reception to discuss this and couldn’t find anyone. I emailed them explaining I was passing by as I don’t live in Denmark and they offered no solutions other than saying I must pay another month THAT I WONT USE. Their admin is awful, their customer service as well. I got to say their classes are ok and the teachers are nice. They just need better customer support and clearer conditions (the cancelation policy is hidden in another page you need to scroll till the bottom to read, not upfront - this is quite cheeky!)
Exercise caution before subscribing to this service. Firstly, cancelling your subscription within the app is impossible; instead, you must navigate to their website, where the option is inconveniently hidden. Secondly, there's no way to remove your payment information from your account. Upon ceasing usage, you're bound by their terms to pay for an extra month. The support is unhelpful and unresponsive. Despite reaching out on the same day my payment was processed, requesting a refund as I had “forgotten”(actually haven’t found how to make in App) to cancel, they refused assistance. To exacerbate matters, I received a notification that they attempted to withdraw funds again the following month, despite my earlier cancellation request.
This is a great gym with very friendly and helpful staff. Lots of space and equipment in excellent condition. Usually the music in gyms annoy me, but here it really got me in a good state.
STAY FAR AWAY from FitnessX. They are extorting money from people with their mafia-like policies. You can read reviews on Trustpilot. I have contacted Forbrugerombudsmanden regarding my case, and I am not the only one who has reached out to them. I sincerely hope that NO ONE has to go through the same experience as myself and many others.
