It was very interesting; I also learned a lot of new things about Denmark and its architects. There is a great rooftop café—a lovely way to wrap up the exhibition. We were glad we made it in time for "Age of nature".
Really cool museum. Im a structural engineer, so naturally I found everything so interesting but all my friends who are not in the building industry also found it very engaging and enlightening. The slide at the end is NOT A JOKE! You go down VERY FAST! And I loved it 😂😂
Great place! The museum is beautifully designed, modern, and super interesting. It’s well-structured across multiple floors, with a fantastic cafe at the very top (they offer a student discount!). It offers great insights into Scandinavian architecture history, the use of organic materials, and how technology works in modern building design. It’s also amazing for kids – there is a dedicated space for them to learn about architecture, fun workshops, and you can even ride down a huge slide! Highly recommend!
The Danish Architecture Center is so cool! I was really impressed by how well they explain the connection between architecture, people, and sustainability. The coffee shop is a must! awesome views and great veggie food. And the absolute best part, there’s a giant slide to get back down, and yes, even adults can use it! So much fun!
The Danish architecture center hosts an exhibit on Danish design, from furniture to architecture. A fun feature of the building it the four-story winding slide (riders must be all least 110cm tall). Great rooftop cafe with stunning views of the river. Great gift shop with books on architecture and design. For children: there is an outside playground with slides. Visiting time: 2h
