Brønshøj Blik & Varme only solved one out of three tasks satisfactorily. When we objected to the bill for the work, Brønshøj Blik & Varme accused us of being dishonest without addressing our points of criticism. When we insisted that they address our points of criticism, we were threatened with a lawyer. We then contacted the Appeals Board for Technical Installations to start a case. Shortly after, Brønshøj Blik & Varme contacted us to resolve the case. All in all, an extremely unprofessional and unpleasant experience.

Repair of a toilet cistern that turned out not to be as simple as first thought. Two visits by Ibrahim as the toilet continued to run a little after the first visit and a somewhat more expensive replacement of the float valve was necessary. Nice to try the cheap solution first. Quick and professional action on both visits.

We called Brønshøj Blik og Varme when the vacuum valve on the district heating system was not working one evening. We explained exactly what the problem was on the phone. They came an hour later. So far so good. However, they do not have a vacuum valve and have to leave the place to come again the next day. We had turned off the water ourselves. They came again the next day and fixed the problem. Fine enough, we think, until we get the bill. The visit, where they cannot replace the vacuum valve despite the fact that we had said that was the problem, cost us DKK 3,500. The total bill is DKK 4,655 (DKK 530 for materials) for a maximum of 1.5 hours of visit divided over two times. We are, to put it mildly, pleasantly surprised by the size of the amount, which is why I am writing to get an explanation of the various items. I think there is a nice dialogue in emails with their accountant, although I think their reasons are a bit far-fetched. I don't get a response to my last email, and we're approaching the date for paying the bill. I get a call from Ib/Ibrahim, who very angrily and threateningly scolds me and says that he doesn't want to put up with any more f**king and that we just have to pay the bill. I have to ask him to speak nicely, which then makes him fall down. It was a very unpleasant situation. At the end of the conversation we agree that I will of course pay the bill, and that I will also sign a bad review, which both parties agree to. My husband contacts him after his unpleasant call to say that we will of course pay the bill, but that we will not put up with him calling like that and scolding. At first he denies having scolded me, but later admits that he spoke with "sharp words" because he thought the email correspondence was "a little too long-winded". I would never dream of not paying a bill, but I would like an explanation as to why the amount is so high. It is also worth mentioning that we chose them because their address was very close to ours and because we prefer to hire local craftsmen. However, with such unprofessional behavior, I will not use them again nor recommend them to others.
