We wanted to rent bikes there when the shops opened: opening hours apparently from 12 until noon, but nobody was there, no sign on the door, we called the emergency number: answering machine, same with the shop's number. Zero service, you can do better, sorry. Luckily, there's a nice and competent bike rental shop near the train station.
I had terrible experience with this company. The apartment was grossly dirty and many things were broken. I DO NOT recommend this company at all. And if you decide to try make sure they give you correct key codes. I had some issues with that too.

We rented here bikes for 3 days. Very friendly service!
A very quiet city for its population. I recommend visiting the Esbjerg Ocean Center and the beautiful large football stadium.
