We had a really good experience right up until the purchase agreement was signed, where the real estate agent had not written down our very clear agreement (our condition for giving 25,000 kr more for the house; namely 1-2 months of disposal rights.) We ended up having to pay 25,000 kr more for the house + 1-2.5 months of extra rent. As first-time buyers, it is a really bad experience to have - even though the real estate agent and seller are legally right on their side. We also did not experience any compensation or other form of regret when we made the real estate agent aware of our situation and dissatisfaction! Remember to pay attention to even the most obvious agreements in the purchase agreement!!
