They say in notar.ee that they have their service in English but it is a lie. You never know what they are charging you for. It is the third notary in Estonia that I went to and all three asked me if I need English service and when I accepted they provided the service in English. But here they asked me if I want the service in English and they hired someone to come for translation without asking me and even telling me that he charges 75 Euros for each hour. Unfortunately I had to go there for a second time and they agreed that there will a translator who charges 50 Euros and it will be split between both parties but they charged me 98 Euros. Also I mentioned that I understand Estonian but cannot speak but she started telling the others rudely that he says he understand but he only shows that he understand. If you expect honesty, transparency, and respect from a notary, never go here.
Had no pleasure dealing with her at Johvi buroo in april of 2019.it was the next day after my mother's funeral.This woman was like a drill sergeant, no empathy.She had the nerve to raise her voice at us and nearly yelled at us what we should or should not make comments about( when i was talking to my father and my sister NOT TO HER). I was short of time and was not at liberty to loose more time to look for another notary, but she was absolutely out of line and we were not her children to be reprimanded nor to be a punching bag to her mood of the day.i was absolutely disgusted by her.Not a professional, not a people's person. Her place is in a cage with wild animals. Luckily for her in wasn't in the country long enough to file a complaint.
I needed to have a document certified, and the process was very quick and efficient. The notary public was professional, and the staff were extremely helpful. Excellent service.
fast and convenient for an apostille
Not client friendly at all by not being transparent on pricing and what actions are needed by notary and what are complimentary/nice to have. I did simple change of control in business ownership and had two pay for online verification twice as "it's two separate transactions" - even though done at the same single call. The second entry to business registry was waste of money, as not something needed to be signed off by notary. Client friendly approach would have been to confirm if you want any other changes in the business registry with one go, but nooo. There are many notaries in the city and I recommend to use a different one.
