If you value your money, your life, and your mental health, I strongly advise you NOT to set foot in this notary office. My experience with this notary was absolutely traumatic. She is deeply unprofessional, hostile, and disrespectful toward clients. It is shocking that someone with an advanced academic degree and a position of such responsibility could treat people with such rudeness and lack of basic human decency. I ended up at this notary because the seller of the apartment I was buying scheduled the meeting with her. From the moment I entered the office, she looked at me with a face full of aggression — like a tiger ready to attack. Her expression was filled with anger, and frankly, I couldn’t help but wonder if it was because I am a Black woman. Yes, there were some issues with my documents, but that does not justify the way I was treated. No professional has the right to be so disrespectful. Her negative energy was so intense that it affected me for two days after the meeting. She abruptly ended the meeting without the slightest courtesy or respect, simply because of a few errors in the paperwork. I was stunned. Having lived in the U.S. for five years, I used to think Americans could be rude, but after this experience in Estonia, this woman made Americans look like absolute angels. When she realized I might file a complaint, she completely changed her attitude and said to me: “This is how Estonians show seriousness.” To which I responded: “No, this just shows your lack of manners, empathy, and professional training.” To make matters worse, I later found out that the seller — with whom I had a clear agreement — is her husband, and that after the contract was already prepared at her office, she actively encouraged him not to go through with the sale. This was my experience with this notary. I wouldn’t recommend this office even to my worst enemy.

The most adequate notary in Jõhvi today. I have been to many notaries. Ülle Mesi has a very pleasant and honest team. They explained to me clearly about my inheritance case. They told me which documents I can draw up myself for free. But the notary Andrey Lysenko and his secretary "forgot" to say this, they immediately offered to draw up these documents for money. And Lysenko offered to draw up for 750 euros, Ülle promised for 450 and did it! If you have an extra 300 euros burning your pocket, contact Andrey Lysenko.
