Hello everyone! I'd like to share my review of the Torex metal entry door. We were planning to renovate our hallway, and the question of replacing the entry door arose. Our existing wooden doors were old and there were two of them, but we wanted to install one, but a stronger one. I was puzzled by this question. After scouring local door stores, we decided on Torex (I found the store address online; they have their own website). Before going to the store, we browsed the website, consulted with family members, and chose the ULTIMATUM model door with a mirror. Our hallway is small and there's not much room for a large mirror. This model has a full-length mirror, which saves space, and the manufacturer's stated specifications for this model were just right for us, at a reasonable price. We arrived at their store in Narva, were greeted warmly, and told to take measurements of the doorway first to get a more accurate idea of ​​the door I needed. No sooner said than done, a surveyor arrived the next day and quickly and professionally took all the necessary measurements. The door turned out to be a non-standard size and had to be custom-made. A little over a month passed between ordering and installation. One fine day, the phone rang and they said the door was ready. We set a time and date for installation. And then the big day arrived! The installers worked quickly and carefully. After installation, they explained how to use the door properly and how to care for it. A quick word about the locks. The top lock only opens and closes with a key. The second lock (the night latch) only locks from the inside; we use it when everyone is home. The bottom lock is the most convenient; it opens with a key from the outside and a knob from the inside. Basically, there's a lock for every occasion. The metal door is 2 mm thick, weighing over 100 kg, and has more than three hinges. They'll last longer, and it's very difficult to puncture. The insulation and soundproofing are excellent – ​​we can say we hear no noise from the entryway, and there's no drafts anywhere. We're very happy.
