Velma Furniture Ltd.

We ordered kitchen furniture a few years ago and it's a good thing I didn't write my review right away. When planning a new kitchen cabinet, there were several companies that received offers, but Velma was chosen precisely because of their short waiting list compared to others. We had never been to their showroom and have never been to their office because it is in Tartu and we are on the other side of Estonia, but communication via email was smooth and I received quick responses to all my letters. The measurers came at the agreed time and then an accurate quote was made and then we submitted the order and paid the first part of the total amount. The cabinets were ready at the expected time and then they came to install them at the agreed time, which took one day. I was satisfied with both the cabinets and the installation, but I had forgotten to add that I wanted drawer inserts for kitchen utensils, which I had to order myself later. I could have asked if we wanted this when we were planning the cabinets, so that everything would have been in place right away, but now I had to order the drawer inserts separately and cut them to size. In addition, the cabinets were left covered in dust from the installation, so I had to start washing them myself right away. A few weeks later, at most, the first problem with the cargo drawer arose and the installer had to come and fix the mistake, which was done. After that, I have been in contact with Velma's sales representative several times regarding the questions that arose and they always answered me. We even ordered a smaller cabinet for another room. But now, 2 years later, when the warranty period is over and the same problem with the same cargo drawer again, I can no longer contact Velma by email. I sent 2 letters and one was finally answered, but it was no longer the same sales consultant I had communicated with before, but someone who didn't even know what the cabinet was about. I then looked for the order number in old emails myself, but they don't answer me at all anymore and I can't fix the drawer myself because there isn't even a manual left. So, until the warranty period lasts 2 years, they will answer and fix it if something goes wrong, but after that, I wish you luck because you have to do it yourself. Is there a change in the company management and new people at work? I don't know, but it's unpleasant anyway because these cabinets weren't cheap at all and if they only last 2 years, it's really cheaper to buy from Ikea and get the same quality... I hope someone from Velma sees this and finally contacts me so that I can at least get the cabinet fixed for Christmas. As I write this, it's the beginning of October 2024.

I am sooooo happy that I chose Velma.. Starting from the kitchen planning to the installation, everything was great. Working with Anneli was fantastic and the installation guys were fast and very good, they even helped me move my kitchen table and refrigerator from the living room back to the kitchen, honor and praise. Excellent service! I ordered furniture + kitchen equipment from Velma. Also, Velma provided the design for the new kitchen interior. I was very happy with the designs provided by designer Airis Tenso! She has excellent communications skills and the ability to design customed kitchens by needs of client. Communication throughout the process was fast and clear. It took only 7 weeks from designs to fully ready kitchen. Also, workers who were installing furniture were very professional. They provided kind service and kept everything clean after themselves. I am very satisfied with service, price, and quality!
