The best customer service I've ever received. A small customer like this who needs skirting boards 3 times a year would be easy to ignore, but every time I've received the absolute best service!

Accurate and high-quality results with an aged 36 m2 plank floor in four different rooms. The old paint was sanded off the floor and the original varnish underneath; after sanding, the gaps were filled and the even surface was finished with five layers of modern varnish. Skirting boards, etc. had been removed ourselves beforehand. The result of the work is even all the way around the corners and around the radiator pipes, and the price was reasonable. Questions were answered and good advice was given. The job was done on time and the workers seemed to enjoy their job. Now, after a few weeks, only the largest gaps in the planks are starting to feel a bit uneven, as the wood naturally lives, which was to be expected.

We demolished the partition and wondered what to do with the floor, so we turned to Kemppainen and got a floor that is like a blade of fire! The mosaic was patched so that you can't even tell where the old wall was. The whitewash gave the floor exactly the tone we wanted, it's like stepping into a new home when you open the front door. Communication went incredibly smoothly throughout the project, and there was nothing to complain about. I highly recommend them!

Expensive, but with significant problems in the execution of the work and after. I ordered the sanding and white gloss varnishing of mosaic parquet. After the work, the floor looked quite nice, but the sanding had been done carelessly, there was old brown varnish left on the floor in a couple of places. The floor was sanded and varnished again, but this time the work was done completely carelessly. During the intermediate sanding, rough spots had been left out and the sanding mark was rough and uneven throughout. The floor had been sanded without removing the moldings, even though removal had been agreed upon and the company itself had previously explicitly stated that the sanding mark could not be cleaned without removing the moldings! The floor was even rougher on the walls and in a couple of centimeters next to the walls it was completely jagged and in places there are clear marks from the edge sander's disc. In addition, the newly installed moldings were destroyed during the sanding with the edge sander. After the remark, the moldings were repaired with acrylic putty, which was unevenly applied between the moldings and the floor! After this, the floor was repaired by applying a friction-reducing impregnation. This did reduce the roughness, but it still didn't produce a neat result, the uneven sanding marks on the floor are visible and make it look ugly and worn out. In addition, the acrylic putty used to repair the moldings is sagging worse every day. I didn't expect such a result from a company that claims to specialize in floor maintenance. Clearly, the management has difficulty monitoring the professionalism and/or attitude of the employees. I cannot recommend it.
