Great service of Markku and his team! I was there many times in the last months with many problems regarding the renovation of my new house and everybody was so helpful and friendly - just great!!

Very rude and unhelpful staff; especially if you encounter a problem and need help after purchasing. In my case I received a waste shelter with totally distorted and unusable wood boards and still I have not been able to solve the issue. They staff have a general "we don't give a damn" attitude, playing games on phones literally infront of waiting customers. Such a terrible place considering that it's like 10% more expensive than Bauhaus or Rusta.

We have now bought here dozens of times, and I feel it is time to leave a review. Generally the staff is very friendly, and their level of English is good, which I very much appreciate! They have quite a lot of choice, and most of the time you will find the basic things you need for home maintenance and renovation. One less fortunate purchase we made here was that of a rather expensive Japanese Sakura tree. It was delivered in summer 2024 to our home looking quite unhealthy (only a few leaves left, looked like it hadn't been watered in a long time). We considered to give it a chance, thinking it might recover, and carefully planted it in good soil. In spring 2025 it was clear the tree was completely dead. When we revisited K-rauta to complain, the garden staff were quite defensive and a bit unfriendly, saying there is no warranty at all on plants. I'm not quite sure this is correct or even legal, as in the EU a minimum two-year guarantee for product defects applies. This is the first time in my life I acted as a Karen and asked to speak to the store manager, who was friendly and understanding. He made sure the plant got replaced. It is just a pity I had to escalate this discussion to him. It would be good for customers to clearly communicate what K-rauta's warranty policy is for plants.

Good service and very big store. Professional service only here. Sadly, we didn’t find what we needed😅. Best K-rauta I’ve ever been to. Have a good day🤭🤗

This store is huge, with an attached lumberyard, so it offers pretty much everything one could possibly want from a hardware store. Additionally, the garden department is fairly small, but adequate. One detail that I didn't expect was the assorted jacuzzis and everything needed for their maintenance. Every time I have visited, the service has been friendly and professional, though due to the size of the place, especially very early or late in the day it can be a bit of a task to locate a member of the staff. Wheelchair accessibility is good, except in parts of the outdoor garden department.
