I'm fortunate that this is the closest K-rauta to me. I have only positive experiences here. A large store most likely satisfies all possible needs, mine at least. The personnel is exceptionally friendly throughout, also either knowing the answer or knowing who has the answer when asked for advice. An extra shout-out to the cashiers. They are the friendliest I have met anywhere.
I had a very frustrating experience with the paint department. They seem completely incompetent and unwilling to work. I clearly showed them and even provided a written note with the exact brand and color of paint I needed. Despite this, they sold me a different product. Since I don’t speak Finnish, I didn’t realize at the time that they hadn’t given me the correct brand, and only discovered it later. Now I’m stuck with the wrong paint and mismatched patches on my wall, and I’ll have to buy another can just to fix THEIR mistake. Very disappointing service.
The in-store customer service was disappointing and not at all informative. The staff was utterly incompetent. Ordering products for pickup was also far from pleasant. There were apparently some mistakes with how they placed my order and I had wait for twice as long, which delayed all my other renovations. This is however a great “showroom” but I recommend buying from a different store.
Big, well stocked, clean, organized and has the cool stuff!
