Parkettiliiga Oy

Comprehensive and expert service. We were in two minds about the parquet in our apartment (whitewash or replace). A visit to the showroom clarified our options and Vesa also came on site to assess the condition of the floor to support our decision-making. I ordered new flooring materials from them and I am very satisfied 🙏🏼

Great service. I was able to buy a couple of square meters of parquet suitable for renovation on the same day at the weekend from Parkettiliiga. And it wasn't expensive.

The Parquet League sanded and varnished my yellowed beech parquet. The end result is disappointing, and the process was long and painful. The work was done twice, because after the first time the floor was very patchy and the varnish was rough in many places. After the second time, the result is definitely better, but it still looks careless and unfinished. There were yellowing patches here and there, especially in corners, edges and joints. The Parquet League explained that from a distance, in certain lighting, the floor looks good, and that is true, but your own eyes are constantly struck by carelessness. The Parquet League also explained that due to the nature of the wood, they could not have done better, but that also seems an unlikely explanation, because the floor was sanded for the first time, and the patches are on the same boards, of which the adjacent area is absolutely beautiful and good. This is a shame, because in my opinion it would have been just a matter of finishing, i.e. that the floor would have been looked at carefully before varnishing. The supervisor had promised to inspect the floor before varnishing for quality control purposes, but he hadn't, so the person responsible was left alone. As a lesson from this process, I would insist on being able to inspect the floor myself before varnishing in the future, when changes are still easily possible.

Vesa was able to restore the original 1955 parquet flooring, which had fallen into very poor condition, to its new glory. I was afraid that nothing would save the floor. It was nice and comforting to receive WA pictures of the progress of the work. Communication about agreeing on the job was quick and relaxed. I am satisfied with the end result.

High quality work in sanding and varnishing. The finishing of the work (including the installation of skirting boards) was 5/5. They also cleaned up their own work very well. The schedule was kept as agreed, meaning the installers arrived at the site when they promised. I recommend Parkettiliiga Oy!
