Wonderful colors many not found by other domestic paint manufacturers. Full matte, yes! Colors draw inspiration from Helsinki's old architecture and there are also collaborations with esteemed designers. Already when applying the paint you can notice the difference to other paints in room air quality - odourless 100%. Paint is easy to pick up and applies evenly on surfaces. Just use a whisk + drilling machine to properly mix the paint, and tools suitable for the surface when applying it.

It was so easy to test out the colors by ordering the sample stickers in different shades, to test them out all day on the walls. We decided that Hermann was the right shade of green for our livingroom and the delivery after ordering online went so quick! I really recommend paint from Cover Story, the shades are so pretty in every light! Love it, so happy. THANK YOU!

terrible customer service - Have used cover story paint before with great success but then had a bad experience using the colour Eino. Paint seemed incredibly oily and took an age to mix. The paint went on the walls really badly as it was so oily and took much loner to dry than previous experiences using cover story paint. The paint was also very shiny, rather than the matte shade we had hoped for. Even after a couple of weeks the paint seemed soft and could scratch off easily. Then pictures that had been secured using hanging tape fell off, the paint layers literally separated. I emailed cover story, with pictures and got no response so decided to visit the store in Helsinki. I was told they were looking into the paint batch and would get back to me. I even gave them dates when they could come and view the paint results if necessary. Never heard back and now months later we ended up painting over the walls with a different colour as we were so unhappy with the Eino. Considering the price of the paint I had hoped for a better result and customer service and not that I would having to buy new paint to repaint the room!

Overall an excellent experience with Cover Story and would highly recommend! Tiina is super friendly and customer oriented and the paints are just gorgeous. The colours came out even better than we’d expected and the quality is tip top. We’re already deciding on which colour to go for next!

I’ve just repainted my Stockholm apartment with Coverstory after doing heaps of research-and I l love it. I used KIM for the majority of the apartment and it feels like I’m living in a cloud. I also ordered their paint kit, the brushes were excellent and the handles and extension pole are things I will keep and reuse for years. They are made from birch and beautiful to hold. And there’s the environmental piece, a total win. In short, beautiful paint. So happy I chose to use them.
