The kitchen had new cabinet doors, drawer fronts, countertops, and electrical work (lighting and sockets). The quality of the work was excellent and the schedule was met. I recommend it.
I would leave a star off if I could. This group of people had come over a month ago to sell a kitchen to my 78 year old mother, telling her that the housing association was going to have a major kitchen renovation, my mother thought it was a contract made by the housing association, so she called me about it. A couple of days ago they called me about this kitchen renovation because I am the owner of the apartment, we talked on the phone, they told me a lot about how the apartment definitely needs a renovation in the kitchen, I know that myself, but the worst thing in the kitchen is the broken spoon drawer, and the partition wall in the cabinet, which is made of chipboard, can no longer hold it, otherwise everything else is mostly a cosmic problem. I asked how much it would cost to fix this, so the explanation began that - well, it has to be screwed to the wall, etc., etc., that yes, it will cost a ton on top of that, and there would have to be something else to do, so that it would be closer to 2 hours, at that point I was at my mother's for a moment. Then he also told me how someone had taken a 20k kitchen renovation from them, I immediately said that I wouldn't invest that kind of amount, well he added that if they take these deals in installments I would get such and such a great installment, I said that yes it is salty that they do it themselves for much cheaper and if you look at the interior of the apartment it is all the rest of the renovation we did. He still really wanted to meet but the only time I would have had the opportunity to go there was the next morning which didn't suit them again because they had a meeting so we agreed that he would send an email but there was no such thing the next morning and I started googling these feedbacks when I suspected a cold case and they proved that I was right. On their own website there is only praise from earth to heaven but nothing good can be read if some independent party has written about it on other platforms, so my advice is to avoid this bunch. After I had read the comments I also sent a message to the caller that we will not be making deals.
I do not recommend. In January 2025, the seller came to the door and sold me a kitchen renovation. The promised duration was 2-3 DAYS. The renovation started on February 26. The contractor promised to come in the morning, but only came during the day. At first it took about 2 weeks to even partially use the kitchen. Nothing went as planned. We were sold impossible things and the work was very bad. The employee was working with a hangover. The renovation dragged on and on, the work started to improve when the third contractor came. All the lower cabinets had to be replaced, they were completely scratched. The second level was also replaced a couple of times. The breakfast cabinet was not even a breakfast cabinet. Communication from Ideko was really bad. Every time I had to ask when the renovation would continue. In the end, the kitchen was finished on October 24. So it took almost 9 months, not 2-3 DAYS, which was promised. The non-existent "compensation" for the delay was only paid on December 13th, when I had to ask separately what was taking so long. And I certainly didn't remember everything that went wrong. I will never recommend anything from that company to anyone.
I wonder if anyone here takes anything for their kitchen. They call every now and then and try to sell me a kitchen renovation, even though I always say I don't need a kitchen renovation. Now they've started showing up at the door to hawk. It's like they're doing some kind of "joint project" in the area and now they're starting cheap and you shouldn't miss out on this. If you ever need a kitchen renovation, Ideko is the last place I'd go to ask.
Sales guy Matias Namanka is excellent with his selling skills. He was the reason I chose ideko. He helped me during the entire process with communication with the company. There were few missed deadlines and wrong products delivered in beginning but installation chief Antti was very cooperative and corrected everything. Overall quality and their product is very good and I am satisfied with Ideko! I recommend them for kitchen renovation! 👍🏼👍🏼
