Good value for money. Good products and delivery arrived on time.
Incomprehensibly poor quality windows and doors. The paint came off along with the protective tapes from both the frames and the door, even though the tape was according to the instructions. This happened even though in one room we tried to remove the tape immediately after painting the smygs 10 minutes later. The leveling was done by hand so that as little protection was needed as possible. Now the complaint has been open for over a year and Skaala still has not had the frames painted properly. In addition, the profiles on both aluminum-clad exterior doors are crooked at the top corners.
They replaced the doors of the apartments in our housing company and the end result was holes in the walls and poorly made moldings that did not cover the defects. There were no holes/holes visible on the old doors and moldings. They refused to fix the defects with new moldings.
Careless installation and avoidance of responding to complaints despite several contacts. Still waiting... The repair is not progressing, they are quoting the insurance company. You make a complaint online, to which you don't even get a response or an ID number... in addition, a report prepared by the insurance company's inspector with pictures of the damage is submitted. Then a couple of months later they ask: Hi, there has been progress, but it's still unfinished. The insurance company sent additional questions again yesterday. Internal investigation in progress. By the way, can you tell me when you first reported the problem to Skaala and what kind of documentation there would be? Juha-Matti
