I've seen a very terrible project built by a design house, with serious problems and construction errors.
I wouldn't choose them again. The project was significantly delayed and was only completed 21 months after the order was placed, as they first had a "backlog" and then they installed the wrong foundations that were against the contract and had to be replaced. They also didn't do many things as expected. They refuse to compensate for anything despite the big inconvenience and now the matter is going to the Consumer Disputes Board. Too bad they didn't choose a competitor's offer.
Project management has so far been on the same level as running a daycare group. Extranet is a good tool for a project, but if nothing is right there, its value approaches zero. If something works on time, invoices arrive comfortably with a 10-day net payment period, sometimes even a little early. I can't recommend it, especially when the level of activity is this, especially considering the decline in the construction industry and the likely lower order backlog. Let's see what kind of update this estimate gets if the house is ever completed
Another office building.. we visited a vet downstairs. Designhouse sells prefabricated houses
Our ready-to-move-in house project was a difficult experience and the term "ready-to-move-in" turned out to be very misleading. At the time of the transaction, the ease of customizing the basic package was emphasized, but the reality did not match the sold images at all. Designtalo's project manager made it clear from the beginning that he was not interested in the parts from other suppliers, and this caused numerous messes. The ready-to-move-in complex was missing, for example, the ventilation piles in the basement, the logic of which was explained in colorful turns of phrase. Some of the wooden materials had already been carted out to the yard the previous autumn to lie dormant under the snow. Several mistakes occurred during the construction, which were due to the fact that no one supervised the complex and the cause was always someone other than Designtalo. The result of the work was poor in places and we had to monitor the quality ourselves. Once the payment had been made, it was a lot of work to get the rest of the repairs done. We only received partial compensation for the additional costs incurred by the design house after we threatened to take the matter to the consumer ombudsman. Furthermore, the attitude towards the customer's views was often dismissive.
