Fitness Park - Gym Nice - Promenade

Very well located gym right at the door step you have the promenade if you want a warm up by the sea. Well equipped latest generation of machines, friendly staff. A big thank you to Wafa ( apologies if I made a mistake in the name spelling)in assisting me rejoining after my health recovery prevented me to exercise for so many months.

Finally, a gym that completely gets it! I’m here on business and it’s super hard to find a place where I can work out for one day. Fitness Park offers a daily pass, but if you’re here for more than two workouts, you may want to consider a weekly pass. The gym is clean and has a lot of machines along with plenty of free weights. Paul in the front desk is awesome! Highly recommend.

I had a great experience at Fitness Park on the Promenade in Nice. The staff is very friendly and always helpful, which creates a welcoming atmosphere right from the start. The equipment is clean, well-maintained, and neatly organized, making workouts comfortable and efficient. What I really appreciate is the community here — the people training are very friendly, and it’s a diverse crowd ranging from young to older members. It gives the gym a nice, inclusive vibe. There’s always something going on, so it never feels empty or boring. They also offer good deals, which makes it even more attractive. And a special highlight for me is the water fountain — definitely worth the extra €5. I’m a big fan! Overall, I highly recommend this gym.

I would love to give this gym a higher rating however i was refused access. For context: I’m a personal trainer working from the US and Paris and on vacation in Nice I have been a member of fitness park for years. The reason for refusal: I’m on vacation and didn’t bring a towel. In the most patronizing way possible, Mahrez, the front desk staff, decided that he would enforce this rule on me. Now given the context above, I’ve worked in NUMEROUS gyms and have visited just about 20ish fitness parks. NEVER and i mean NEVER have i ever had an issue with forgetting a towel. Might i add that 2 people walked in while i was pleading with Mahrez visibly with a tiny bag and clearly without a towel. Didn’t bat an eye because i was the target for his power trip. I could also see CLEARLY into the gym multiple people without towels. Now obviously it happens to everyone to forget a towel, but exceptions to the rule cannot be made to some and not all. The tone of Mahrez was EXTREMELY condescending as if i was committing the worst of crimes in having simply forgotten a towel. If you’re visiting from abroad, bring a damn towel because Mahrez will take IMMENSE pleasure in refusing you entry. If you manage to bring a towel, be ready to fork up 20€ day pass for a mediocre gym chain. Terrible customer service, genuinely appalled.
