We purchased an apartment through a realtor from here. The realtor made a specific statement stating there was "special" insulation in the walls, "not like in America" when in fact there was zero insulation. The apartment turned out to be so poorly renovated, mainly the plumbing and the floors atop of the plumbing, that we have yet to be able to live in the apartment except the first 2 weeks post final signature in June 2025. The apartment came with a warranty. The warranty proved worthless because the repairs under the warranty was done incorrectly, and we had to remove them from working on the job, hire a different contractor not under warranty to redo their work. On top of the problems briefly described above, on the day of final signature, we explained the mailbox doesn't work. When the realtor herein and the seller said it was fixed and we went to the apartment, the entire mailbox metal frame was irreparably bent and our mailbox remains unable to be closed. The board is requiring us to fix the entire frame for the building at an additional cost of thousands. If anyone wants more specifics, feel free to contact me directly. It's January 2026 as I write this, and we're no where near able to live in this apartment.
