Parquet sanding in Paris does quality work, employs polite staff (a rarity these days), attentive staff (also rare), and staff who aren't concerned with saving time and energy at the expense of the customer (very rare indeed). After an initial visit, the company returned to repair a stain on the parquet floor for which I was solely responsible, having dropped some wood filler with hardener.
Sanding was carried out in April 2021 in a two-room apartment in Paris. The floor leveling and finishing are good, but the varnishing was botched (hard primer + one coat of chemical varnish). The company refused to apply a second coat of varnish, even though the product instructions indicated it was suitable, justifying it by saying it was a private residence and not a restaurant. Furthermore, the varnisher seemed far less competent than the sanding team. Four years later, black marks are appearing regularly across the entire floor, which has become very dull, and some areas are completely blackened. I would recommend hiring more competent professionals who respect the craft of their trade.
